Creative Cocktail Series : APLOS TARO & TAHITIAN GARDENIA

Taro: A tropical Asian plant of the arum family that has edible starchy corms and edible fleshy leaves, especially a variety with a large central corm grown as a staple in the Pacific.

Ingredients

Aplós Calme or Ease – 2 oz

Coconut milk – 2 oz

Taro simple syrup* – 2 oz

Instructions

Shake and strain over pebble ice into a short Collins glass. Garnish with a fragrant edible white flower, such as Tahitian Gardenia or Butterfly ginger blossom.

*Taro Simple Syrup: Combine 1/2 cup of sugar and water with 2oz dehydrated Taro powder. Stir over heat until sugar dissolves.
