How Licoeur was born…
Meet Fatima, a warm and welcoming hostess who has always enjoyed bringing people together over food and drinks. Growing up in France, wine was a staple at her gatherings and she loved nothing more than pairing it with delicious food.
Fatima also had a talent for mixing cocktails, particularly her famous margaritas, which were always a hit with her friends. However, when she decided to change her lifestyle and give up alcohol, she found herself missing the ritual of cocktail-making and wine-pairing.
That’s when she discovered the world of non-alcoholic spirits and wines, and it was a game-changer for her. She loved the taste and sophistication of these Non-Alcoholic Cocktails and she realized that there was a whole community of people out there who were also looking for booze-free alternatives.
But Licoeur is more than just a place to enjoy great drinks. Fatima also wanted to create a community where people could come together, connect, and have fun. Music was always a big part of her life, and she wanted it to be a part of her events too. As she says: “Alcohol-free doesn’t mean free of fun”
And so, Licoeur was born. A place where people could come together and enjoy sophisticated and delicious drinks, without any judgment or pressure to drink alcohol.
The name “Licoeur” resonated with Fatima because it sounded like “liquor” but was not. It was a reminder that you could have all the taste and sophistication of a cocktail or wine, without any of the negative effects.
The fact that the name is spelled with “coeur” (heart in French) is a reminder that not only non-alcoholic drinks are better for your heart and overall well-being, but it is about leading with love and bringing people together. It is a way of life that she is passionate about sharing with others.
