Celebrate the flavors of autumn with this non-alcoholic Old Fashioned. Tart Gravenstein apples are infused with The Spirit of Bourbon, cardamom, and cinnamon to create a warm, spiced base, finished with a touch of maple syrup and aromatic bitters. If Gravensteins aren’t available, Honeycrisps or Jonagolds make excellent substitutes.
Ingredients
- 2.5 oz Apple Infused The Spirit of Bourbon
- 0.25 oz Maple Syrup
2 shakes of All The Bitter Aromatic Bitters
2 shakes of All The Bitter Orange Bitters
Method
Add all ingredients to mixing glass and half-fill with ice
Stir briefly until chilled.
Strain over a large ice sphere in a chilled rocks glass.
Garnish with apple slices and a cinnamon stick, if desired.
Apple Infused Non-Alcoholic Bourbon
In a 32 oz ball jar, combine roughly chopped Gravenstein apples, 2–3 cinnamon sticks, and 3 lightly toasted cardamom pods.
Pour The Spirit of Bourbon over the fruit until fully covered.
Screw on the lid and refrigerate for 3–5 days to infuse.
