Creative Cocktail Series : FREE SPIRIT, MAPLE APPLE OLD FASHION

Celebrate the flavors of autumn with this non-alcoholic Old Fashioned. Tart Gravenstein apples are infused with The Spirit of Bourbon, cardamom, and cinnamon to create a warm, spiced base, finished with a touch of maple syrup and aromatic bitters. If Gravensteins aren’t available, Honeycrisps or Jonagolds make excellent substitutes.

Ingredients 
Method
  1. Add all ingredients to mixing glass and half-fill with ice

  2. Stir briefly until chilled.

  3. Strain over a large ice sphere in a chilled rocks glass.

  4. Garnish with apple slices and a cinnamon stick, if desired.

Apple Infused Non-Alcoholic Bourbon
  1. In a 32 oz ball jar, combine roughly chopped Gravenstein apples, 2–3 cinnamon sticks, and 3 lightly toasted cardamom pods.

  2. Pour The Spirit of Bourbon over the fruit until fully covered.

  3. Screw on the lid and refrigerate for 3–5 days to infuse.
